Recently,there is a popular TV series have sparked a global debates,that is The Boys.In this world,superheroes are no longer people's fantasy,they are real,they work for a company called Vought.They fight crime,save people,take care of every good person.But it just seems that way.In fact they have chaotic personal lives,addicted to drugs,sleep with fans,flout the law and kill people at will,are extremely selfish and do anything to get what they want.
And why is there no one to judge them?Becasue fans see them as heroes and enforcers of justice ,company see them as superstars and cash cows,countries see them as valuable resources and powerful weapons,except them The Boys，a group of avengers who are mortal and will do anything to avenge superheroes.
Now let me give you a brief description of the false "Justice League" ,The Seven.
1.Starlight
Starlight is the heroine of this TV series,a new member of The The Seven . She has a strong sense of justice and is gentle and kind. She is overwhelmed by the corruption of The Seven and her super power is to release glare.
2.A-Train--"The Flash"
The fastest man in the world,sounds familiar.But he is addicted to drugs,which can enhance his super powers and keep his records for years to ensure his place in The Seven.When he got high,he ran down protagonist's girlfriend that crushed her and killed her.The fear of losing his position made him do as Homelander told.
3.The Deep--"Aquaman"
He sleep with his fans.When new member,Starlight,joined them at first night,he threatened and insulted her.His power is to talk to fishes,that makes him a insignificant member of The Seven.He wanted to do something to save fishes,but he never succeeded.
4.Black Noir--"Batman"
What is his superpower that have never been shown on TV.For now,we can think of him as an enhanced batman,an assassin and a killer.
5.Translucent--"Martian Manhunter"
Don't ask me why there is nothing in the picture,because his power is invisible and invulnerable.He liked to observe others after being naked.
6.Queen Maeve--"Wonder Woman"
She's basically a weak version of Wonder Woman.She regarded saving peaple as her principle,but when she realized the truth about the company and its superheroes,she gave it up.Now,she became a accomplice of Homelander.
7.Homelander--"Superman "
He is the perfect superhero in the hearts of the citizens.
He is embodiment of justice and always smiles to others.
He is good at deceiving the public to ensure his perfect image.
He created many terrorisrs with superpower to make himself an indispensable force for the country.When he couldn't save everyone,he would kill everyone,so no one would tell reporters.
He is the strongest superhero and the scariest villain.
These superheroes, they do what they want privately, but people always replace reality with the perfect image in their hearts and turn a blind eye to the facts.Because they are what we want to be,in our minds.
But if superheroes watch citizens ,then who watches the superheroes?
